Susan R. Price, Attorney

As founder of Price Law, LLC, an estate planning office, Attorney Susan R. Price is dedicated to providing clients with the best in estate planning. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hofstra University in New York. Following her undergraduate study, Susan attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA and earned her J.D. in 1985.

After law school, Susan moved to Tucson, Arizona and worked at the Pima County Attorney’s Office as the supervising law clerk followed by a position as a prosecuting attorney. Susan then worked as an associate attorney at Chandler, Tullar, Udall & Redhair insurance defense firm and litigated personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights, real estate fraud, criminal defense and contract cases. From 1988 through 2002, Susan represented plaintiffs in personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle collisions, product liability, dram shop actions, malpractice, as well as criminal defense, pro bono V.A. benefits matters, appeals, and created an extensive case management system for the firm.

Susan is strongly committed to continuing education and devotes substantial time and resources to staying up to date on the latest laws and techniques. She has spent extensive time undergoing legal education in estate planning, probate and estate administration matters and established Price Law, LLC to help individuals and families to protect themselves and their loved ones. The goals of Price Law, LLC are to help parents provide loving guardianship and conservatorship arrangements for their minor children, help individuals to ensure that they control who makes medical decisions when they are unable to, and to provide asset protection, privacy and, where necessary, reduce inheritance taxes. Many people delay estate planning for various reasons, including not wanting to think about an emotional painful subject, lacking the time and energy to get it done, and fearing that an attorney’s services will simply cost too much. Many people believe that they don’t have an “estate” worth planning or that everything will be taken care of if the need ever arises. An estate plan is needed for all families to allow you, not the State of Arizona, to take control of your financial and medical decisions in the event of disability or death. Susan finds great personal and professional satisfaction in helping clients create estate plans according to their individual goals and needs that can provide them with peace of mind. Susan prides herself on being available to her clients, and personally handles all of her own phone calls. She knows all her clients and will meet with clients in the evenings, on weekends and will make in-home appointments when necessary to accommodate a client’s schedule and needs. Susan Price is firmly committed to her clients and strives to review their options to enable them to find the right plan to meet their estate planning goals and values.

Susan R. Price and her husband, John Philip met in law school; they have lived in Tucson for over twenty five years. They have two lovely daughters in college. They are very active in their congregations, where Susan enjoys teaching in the religious school. Susan is a member of the Arizona State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Pima County Bar Association, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona. Susan R. Price is also a member of Wealth Counsel, Estate Planning.com and The National ElderCare Alliance Matters.
